Takayuki walked calmly down the road, his hands in his pockets. The rain had stopped, it had felt like it would never end but it had. He could smell that the fresh air had a tints of the smell of rain lingering. He liked it. He could see droplets of water, that had been once from the sky, drip down the green leaves as he speeded past them. The subway was a long ride, as he'd suspected. The young man did not even bother to say anything more to Serenity, and it was not because he ran out of what to say or because he wanted to give her space but for the reason that they'd most likely have an engaging conversation in her home.
Takayuki could see many stands still up with people selling fried squid or vegetables on the road. He wondered what they were thinking in their minds, what their lives were like, if they were the same as they were in public as they were at home. But this was Yuugiri, a part of Japan, and the way workers acted at work differed from when at home. What stays at stays at home and what stays at work stays at work. It was a difficult concept for Takayki to comprehend but it still lure him in with lots of curiosity and many questions that he wished to be answered. But these people were unimportant right now.
Takayuki stopped infront of what looked like an apartment designed for foreigners use, but he couldn't be too sure.. He walked through the gate, not caring about intruding, but still he forced himself to say, "Sorry, for intruding!" He wondered if Serenity was American. To him, she looked one hundred percent American. Thought of her being American interested him, then perhaps there may be a difference in culture and personal values.
It was only a few minutes and he found himself infront if Serenity's apartment. The memmory came back to him. He had gone to Hoshikuzu 9 to search up his partner's name. Serenity Yume's name had popped up. He had learned about her even her address, but he forgot everything due to indifference. He was only curious as to whom his partner was. Who it was did not matter. Whoever and whatever it was he'd conduct the same experiment. He didn't think he'd have met her at the botanical gradens of Yuugiri, but fate had a sweet twist.
He stood at her room door waiting.
