Finally, it was the weekend; even though, it was the first week of school, she couldn't help but feel exhausted. During the morning, Momoe had gone to the park to play soccer with her younger siblings but eventually as lunch time drew closer, she decided to help at the Ogawa Bakery because her mother had gone into the downtown to go work the weekend, thinking it was a good opportunity for a promotion. The young girl was still in the outfit she had worn while running about in the grassy area next to the river the flowed by, grey shorts and an extremely baggy red sweater.
For the few thirty minutes, she rushed above, helping her father create cakes from flour, eggs, milk and other ingredients as customers came in and out. But as soon as the last person had left the bakery, her father came up to her, "Momoe, I am going to go bring your brother and sisters back from the park and get us all some lunch."
Momoe glanced towards her father and smiled as she organized the small cakes at the display, careful not to drop them or make a mess of the sweets, "Okay," she said silently, concentrating on her work.
"Are you sure you'll be okay by yourself?" Hisao asked, bending over slightly to get a good look at his daughter, his face filled with hidden concern. Momoe looked up towards his father and nodded her head, thinking that it was ridiculous of him to be so worried since she was the oldest child. But after her father continued to remain silent, the girl quickly stated, her voice rising slightly, Of course, I'll be fine. Father, be careful on your way, please... I'll see you when you get back!" She beamed once again at him, her eyes shining brightly. Hisao seemed content with her response since after saying goodbye to her; he left, making Momoe the only soul under the roof of the store.
As she returned to re-arranging the display, the bell at the front of the bakery went off.
"Welcome!" Momoe shouted, raising herself from her spot and hastily moving towards the door to bow deeply.

Yuzuki considered herself to be a reasonable person, that is basically what she prided herself in being. The same could not be said for her "mommy" who accidentally locked herself in the closet while dancing around in merry, and instead of asking her "daughter" to call a blacksmith she ordered her to go to a bakery to get something to eat with their tea for the evening since it was the servants day off. The redhead protested vehemently, but Isuzu insisted while giggling hysterically about random nonsense Yuzuki dared not absorb in fear of turning mentally damaged.
She growled in frustration and stomped angrily to the nearest bakery near their home, not in the mood for wasting time and entered the pastry shop. She heard a loud ""Welcome!" and looked around to the person the voice had belonged to. It was a girl who looked to be about Yuzuki's age with long black hair and was bowing in a very formal manner. The redhead blinked and muttered a small greeting, before laying her eyes on the tasty looking treats that made her mouth water greatly.
"How much are those?" she pointed to the row of small cakes on the display, focusing on making herself stop drooling so much. Yuzuki was very well known for having a huge sweet tooth and would even eat sugar directly out of the bag. OoC: Sorry for the crappy post.

Raising herself, Momoe was shocked that her customer hadn't greeted her enthusiastical and quickly ran towards the sweets after giving just a mumble, she stood there, silently watching the other girl, thinking that she was a think a little unfriendly. But since Momoe helped her father take care of the shop, she encountered many people who didn't understand the concept of making new friends but then again, the girl didn't seem rude, to Momoe, rather she seemed to be mesmerized by the baked goods. A smile finding itself back on the girl's face, Momoe moved closer, "Those are 380 yen each... but if you like, I can give you one for free to sample," Momoe bent over and took the Green Tea and Kiwi cake out, "How is this one?" As she raised herself back to her normal height, the young woman placed it on the glass display counter.
Momoe leaned against the counter, gazing at the other girl as she tightened the band that held the messy bun that sat the top of her head, "What is your name? I'm Ogawa Momoe, call me Momoe, please. You go to my school, don't you?"

Yuzuki was sure her drool was getting on her shoes, so she raised an arm to wipe it off before the girl noticed and nodded to show that she had heard what she said. Her eyes could have burnt holes through the small treat as it was placed on the display counter, making the redhead's eyes glimmer with desire. Slowly she reached over and delicately picked up the cake, not wanting to harm it in any way. A delightful hum escaped her lips before she could stop herself once she tasted the delectable dessert, and continued nibbling it with sheer pleasure, unaware of the odd squeaks that she continued to make.
She almost didn't hear the other girl's words, too engrossed in her own little world. "Asahina Yuzuki, and yes, I believe we do go to the same school. I'm a year ahead of you." she murmured, mouth full of cake. Yuzuki swallowed, and opened her mouth to say something else when she was cut off by a ring at the door. The redhead turned to see who entered the store and saw that it was another girl. She looked a year or two older than Yuzuki, but that's where the similarity ended.
This girl had blond shoulder-length hair, wearing a pink miniskirt and a shirt that said : "blink if you're horny." Yuzuki held her breath once she took a whiff of the amount of perfume the blond had put on herself, and tried not to choke. She frowned in distaste and wondered why any girl would bother wearing so much make-up, not only that but her whole "hooker" theme was more than obvious. The newcomer seemed to notice Yuzuki's displeasure and leered dangerously, giving her a quick, almost invisible wink. "Hi!" she greeted with enthusiasm, and looked around the pastry shop, "accidentally" brushing against Yuzuki.
It wasn't until the blond reached where Momoe stood when Yuzuki began to tense up. "I know what I'd like to order..." she grinned suggestively at the black haired girl and placed her manicured hands on Momoe's waist.
Yuzuki sighed impatiently and walked briskly over to the duo, "accidentally" bumping into the Blondie, making her fall on the floor with a yelp. "Oops..." Yuzuki said with a monotonous tone, but made sure her eyes communicated the message clearly: "Get the Hell out."

Momoe's hands held onto each other, resting against her lap as she watched the other girl quietly with a smile across her delicate face. A laughed escaped her grinning lips, Momoe was fascinated with how much the girl enjoyed the pastry as she had a love-hate relationship with those sorts of things, sometimes she'd enjoy raspberry cheesecakes and other times, she prefered to have a bow of strawberries. But even if she wasn't crazily in love with sweets, she still hoped that one day, she would be able to take over her father's bakery on the island or at least open up her own store in Tokyo. It wasn't the taste of the dessert, it was the impact it had on people; some people wanted to eat something good during the sweetest moment of their life and others need the sugar to help them overcome a hard period in their life.
"Ah," Momoe said in response, a little disappointed that Yuzuki wouldn't say anything more, "Do you mind if I call you Yuyu-chan? She asked, hoping that would get the other girl to speak more to her. Before Yuzuki could answer, the bell at the door made it's cheerful sound as yet another customer came into the bakery.
Momoe glanced towards the doorway to see a tall, young woman standing there. She could hardly tell how tall the girl was, she already seemed to be a little taller than the typical Japanese girl and having those platform shoes strapped on her two feet only made her appear more like a giant. Momoe forced a smile to her face to hide her shock and confusion, there weren't many people on the island of Yuugiri dressed in this fashion, only on the mainland and even then, she didn't think it was that popular over there either. "Welcome," she said with a deep bow and as she raised herself upwards, she added, "What would you like?"
Momoe watched the girl as she looked about the bakery...
"I know what I'd like to order..."
Momoe furrowed her eyebrows at the girl's tanned fingers which gripped her waist, she closed her eyes as if to shield herself from what she was about to do to the girl, not fancying the strange demeanor that she recieved from her. She stepped backwards and raised her arms to to push...the air. She heard an oops coming from her new companion as she opened her eyes to see the ganguro on the floor. Her mouth trembled as she tried to say something but her thoughts were scattered due to utter confusion, and within a few moments, she realized that Yuzuki had knocked her customer over. "I... I..." she didn't know what to say, whether to apologize for the redhead's behaviour or to drive the girl away from the cake shop.
Though, Momoe knew that her parents wouldn't be so pleased that she had gotten into a fight, a fight within the store that they owned.
A sudden rush of irritation began to form itself in Momoe's chest, "You shouldn't be so crude with your behaviour..." she said, her voice shaking slightly, her usual cheerful and easy-going nature vanished and turned into something quite different, "...why did you come in here if you decided that you weren't going to get a pastry?" Momoe found it odd that the girl would come in and if she had other intentions besides purchasing one of the baked goods, it was almost as if she had known from before she had peered through the glass window.
Momoe crossed her arms and glared at the girl, her eyes narrowing as she watched the eldest female, taken-aback, raise to her feet and glare at Yuzuki. The girl said some words but Momoe couldn't hear her, nor did she care to, she turned her attention away from the girl and stared endless at the wall until she heard the ring of the bell.
Momoe moved quickly towards the door after the blonde Japanese girl kicked the door frame and marched off and flipped the sign from 'Open' to 'Closed.' Sighing, she asked, "Do you want to go to my room?" Momoe ran back to Yuzuki, tripping slightly on her step along the way, she grabbed Yuzuki around the wrist and pulled her up the staircase.

"...why did you come in here if you decided that you weren't going to get a pastry?"
Yuzuki fought a grin that threatened to break out and remained indifferent to the whole event, glaring murderously at the ganguro who stood up and began yelling random insults at her. The redhead waited for a whole minute until she yawned very loudly, hoping she got the message. The Blondie gasped and stomped out of the pastry shop, banging the door after herself. Yuzuki snickered silently, wondering if she annoyed the girl as much as she hoped she did.
"Do you want to go to my room?"
Once again, Yuzu was cut off from answering when Momoe grabbed her wrist and pulled her up the stairs. Red eyes widened as a small gasp escaped her lips. The redheaded girl was shocked to say the least; someone was touching her without permission! She honestly did not know how to react to the action, but it didn't matter because she never got a chance anyway. When they reached the top of the steps Yuzuki stumbled in her steps, too dazed to realize what her feet were doing and landed right on top of Momoe, the tip of their noses touching just the slightest and their lips mere centimeters apart from each other.
Yuzuki's face was on fire.
"S-sorry..." she murmured, and jumped up from her previous position, muttering small curses under her breath. How humiliating! Without further words, she ran all the way to Momoe's room...or what she "assumed" was her room. It had to belong to the girl though, it was too pink to be anyone else's. That with the number of stuffed animals she had here, the girl could afford to open up a gift shop. Yuzuki wrinkled her nose, feeling nauseous at the sight of the disgustingly cute room. But since she was dragged up here in the first place, she might as well look around.
Yuzuki lazily waltzed around the room, poking at the happy-looking toys and looking at the titles of books on the shelves. The girl felt like her head would explode from cute-ness overload...until she spotted something poking out from underneath a frilly pillow on the bed. Yuzuki's curiosity got the better of her and she snagged the magazine, only to stop and stare at the cover with surprise. On the cover were a bunch of girls dressed in skimpy bathing suits, splashing around in a pool. Yuzuki didn't even want to read the title of the magazine, so she quickly averted her eyes and looked away.
"The hell...?" she exclaimed loudly, wondering what the world was coming to. The black haired girl looked too innocent for these kinds of things, she looked like someone who would spend an afternoon helping kitties out of trees, not indulging in rather questionable activities for a girl her age. She raised an eyebrow and looked at Momoe, clearing her throat very loudly.
"Yours?" she asked.

Momoe slowly moved out of the way for the older girl as she pushed past her and ran up the remaining steps; and once she had caught up with her new companion, the redness in her cheeks was still visible; although, she didn't seem to be as concerned about it as Yuzuki had been, Momoe was typically close to her other female friends at school and usually, required little space between them. Momoe watched Yuzuki with curiousity, wondering why the girl had gone into her youngest sister's room rather than going across the hall to where she and her other sister shared a room, looking out at their garden and the fence which blocked it from the sea of other houses stretching along small streets. Momoe walked into the room and skipped towards the window to see if her father was coming down the street with not only lunch but her siblings.
Seeing nothing, Momoe turned back to find Yuzuki holding a peculiar magazine. Perplexed, she had no idea what a six year old girl would be doing with a magazine, the Japanese girl studied the cover, Party Splash for Tokyo Girls... it was obvious what it was something for adults only... but how did it get into her house? "No, of course not!" She said with antonishment lacing her voice, there was a slight pause before she immediantly continued her surprised speech, "Where'd that come from?" She asked the questions even though she had noticed the pillow on her sister's bed was toppled over against the wall.
Momoe felt a little curious about what was inside the plastic covered package but controlled herself not to look, knowing that she'd ended up feeling an intense disgust afterwards.
"Take the magazine with you and let's go to my room now, this one belongs to my sister," Momoe explained, again she gripped Yuzuki by the wrist, clearing a habit which belonged to the youth, and led her across the hallway into her room. Her room was extremely neat and organized, consisting of light-toned colours of blue, white, red, and yellow. There was a bunk bed in the corner and other necessities for two girls such as a closet, dresser and writing desk. There were posters of several sizes plastered all over the walls of male Japanese sports players who Momoe and her sister adored as well as pictures of them and their friends and ripped bits of magazines with celebrities on them.
"Lock the door," Momoe whispered, "do you wanna take a look at it?"
